Bisous, whose name means "kisses" in French, is a typey Vizsla bitch with beautiful movement, grace & drive in the field.
Bisous is one of those dogs that catches your eye ~ whether in the field or in the show ring.
She taught us how exciting bird dog training & field competitions can be. She flew through her Junior Hunter in her first 4 hunt tests with nearly perfect scores, averaging 9.75 on each run. Her intensity in the field drew large compliments from judges and fellow competitors alike. The same compliments followed in the show ring ~ beautiful movement, combined with balanced conformation & an unassuming, humble attitude. All this and a temperament to die for, which she has passed on to her off-spring.
Bisous' image might ring a bell ~ she was the model for the 2003 VCA Nationals Logo! Bisous & daughter Koios won 1st place at this National event in the Brace contest. She is happily basking in retirement with the occasional hunt & chasing squirrels in the back yard... & keeping her kids & grandkids in 'check'.
